Popular fashion labels unveil Spring/Summer collections

IT WAS a splashing affair at Mid Valley Megamall recently when fashion label Quiksilver and Roxy presented their new Spring/Summer 2011 collections which are all about the sun, sea and sand. Both brands are renowned for their casual lifestyle trends, and are very popular with the youngsters and young adults.

The Roxy collection mixes the old and new, with bold prints and nostalgic hues of black, blue, and floral. This season there is emphasis given to little beach dresses, summer dresses, boardshorts, and beach ware.

Quiksilver, on the other hand, reinvents some of the classic pieces from the past, with new details and unexpected twists, new bold colours and yet retaining the core technical features to ensure quality as found in the all new line of Cypher Series boardshorts.

The Cypher Series introduces the most advanced feature which is the 4-Way Stretch Diamond Dobby. The updated fabric has all the no rash and quick dry benefits of the diamond dobby with the enhanced flexibility of 4-Way Stretch.

When models wearing both labels took to the runway, there was excitement among the crowd as they took in the intoxicating colours of the season.

The new collection will be in stores by the end of April.
